The work programme of the Association for ecology and water sports AMPHIBIA Ohrid, adopted in accordance with the Statute of the Association.

Goals of the Association

What we do

Amphibia is an association of ecology, nature, and water sports enthusiasts, with a particular focus on diving and underwater activities as recreational and educational work.

Awareness for a clean environment

Raising public awareness about the need for a clean environment and its preservation for future generations.

Developing water sports

Popularizing and developing water sports, with a particular focus on diving as a recreational activity.

Ecological actions

Organizing actions to raise environmental awareness, cleaning and maintaining the environment, with a focus on water surfaces in North Macedonia.

Sharing experience

Encouraging the exchange of experience, knowledge, and friendship across the diving community and nature enthusiasts.

Cooperation with other associations

Working independently and together with other associations to develop and promote diving as a recreational activity.

Advocacy

Launching initiatives for laws and regulations that advance diving and the protection of aquatic ecosystems.

Promoting diving

Promoting diving as a sport through diverse marketing actions, presentations, and events.

Timeline

Activities by period

A schedule of activities by quarter — from promotion and preparation, through field actions, to analysis and renewing the programme.

  1. 1. May – September 2026

    • Promotion of the Association in Ohrid and North Macedonia
    • Presentations to find sponsors
    • Setting up the spaces where the Association will operate
    • Logistics for equipment procurement

  2. 2. October – December 2026

    • Preparation and organization for upcoming eco-actions
    • Building contacts with peer associations and bodies in North Macedonia and abroad
    • Organizing presentations
    • Logistics preparation for future initiatives

  3. 3. January – March 2027

    • Shoreline cleanup actions on Lake Ohrid
    • Presentations to find sponsors
    • Preparing premises and equipment for the summer season

  4. 4. April 2027

    • Analysis of the programmatic goals achieved
    • Preparing a report on completed and pending goals
    • Drafting the programme for the next year
    • Designing new plans and initiatives

The programme takes effect on the day of its adoption and applies from the date the Association was registered in the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia (2026-05-04).
